We're thrilled to announce the latest release of FieldBee, version 10.3, packed with exciting updates and enhancements based on your valuable feedback. Let's dive into the details of what's new in this release:

Automatic Turn Functionality

Responding to feedback from our PowerSteer beta users, we've enhanced the automatic turn functionality to make your operations even more seamless. Now, the minimum turn radius is automatically calculated, ensuring precise turns tailored to the characteristics of each vehicle. With this improvement, you can navigate with confidence, knowing that turns are constructed efficiently and accurately.

Headland for the Field

Introducing a highly requested feature – the ability to create a Headland on a specific part of the field, as well as to perform turns on a headland zone. In the RecordKeeping section, under Fields, you can now select the field to which you want to add a Headland – simply go to the Headlands tab and add a Headland effortlessly by specifying the boundaries and width. The Headland will help provide clearer field operations with the necessary AB Lines. Moreover, using it with automatic turns makes it possible to build routes with turns inside of the field for automatic steering.

Updated Functionality for Creating Fields by Circumnavigation

We've updated the functionality for creating fields by circumnavigation to provide even more flexibility. Now, you have the ability to offset the position relative to the existing controller installation. Whether you're dealing with field boundaries or obstacles beyond the field boundary, this enhancement simplifies circumnavigation by allowing you to create tractor lines on the "right" or "left" side of the tractor. This improvement streamlines your workflow, ensuring accurate field mapping and navigation.

Roof Installation Option

For added versatility, we're introducing the option to create a PowerSteer tractor profile with the controller mounted on the roof (available for select models). This feature opens up new possibilities for installation configurations, catering to diverse operational needs.

We're excited to bring these enhancements to you and empower you with the tools you need to succeed in precision farming. Your feedback continues to be instrumental in shaping the future of FieldBee, and we're committed to delivering innovative solutions to meet your evolving needs.

Stay tuned for more updates and improvements. Together, we're shaping the future of agriculture, one innovation at a time.

Happy farming!
